WUF works from two headquarters, in San Diego, California, and in Antalya, Türkiye. The choice is deliberate. A voice for every university cannot sit in one region of the world.
San Diego, California
On the Pacific coast of North America, San Diego connects WUF with the Americas and with the Pacific, and with one of the world’s great concentrations of universities, research and innovation.
Antalya, Türkiye
On the Mediterranean, at the meeting point of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, Antalya lies within a few hours’ flight of four regions. It is a neutral and accessible place where leaders from every region can meet as equals.
One bridge
Between them, the two headquarters form a bridge between the Global North and the Global South, and between the regions that have long had a seat at the global table and those that have not. Both are open to every member of the World University Family.
