World Summit on Universities
Antalya, Türkiye · 7 to 12 November 2027.
384 days to the opening
The World Summit on Universities is the global annual summit of the World Universities Foundation: the meeting of the sector’s leaders from every region, to debate shared priorities and agree on direction. It is where the voice of the world’s universities is heard in one place, and where their shared positions are formed.
| Dates | 7 to 12 November 2027 |
| Place | Antalya, Türkiye |
| Convened by | The World Universities Foundation |
| For | University leaders of every type and every region, and everyone who shapes the future of universities |
A working parliament
The Summit is built for decisions, not speeches alone. Leaders meet in plenary sessions on the questions that matter to every university, in smaller sessions on each region and each domain of university life, and in roundtables where peers who face the same questions in different systems work through them together.
Who takes part
Presidents, rectors and vice-chancellors; chancellors and board chairs; provosts and leaders of research, technology and quality; ministers and public bodies; associations and networks; companies and innovators; students, thinkers and authors. Every region of the world, every type of university.
Why Antalya
On the Mediterranean, at the meeting point of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, Antalya is one of WUF’s two headquarters: a neutral and accessible place where leaders from every region can meet as equals.
