The World Universities Foundation opens W-U-F.org
One home on the web for the global voice of universities.
The World Universities Foundation (WUF) has opened its website, W-U-F.org: one home on the web for an organization built to give the world’s 35,000+ universities one voice.
The site presents WUF and its mandate, REACT: Represent, Empower, Advocate, Celebrate, Transform. It sets out the agenda WUF brings to the global table, Re-Imagine the University, with its six shifts and fourteen domains of university life. It introduces WUF’s four initiatives: the International Day of Universities, the Antalya University Declaration, the State of Universities Annual Report and The Authors’ Corner. It opens the World University Family, the membership of WUF, to every university and every stakeholder in every region, and it publishes the Foundation’s documents in the WUF Library, free to read.
“More than 80 percent of the world’s universities have never had a seat at the global table,” said Prof. Bassem Khafagy, Founder and Secretary General of WUF. “W-U-F.org is where that begins to change. Whatever the size of your university and wherever it stands, there is a seat for it at this table.”
WUF works from two headquarters, in San Diego, California, and in Antalya, Türkiye. Universities, organizations, companies and individuals are invited to take their seat at W-U-F.org, or to write to connect@w-u-f.org.
